Consider this a warning shot. Put on your reading glasses.
Soon we're going to begin a series of posts on the stuff that can both drive you crazy and propel your on-mountain technique into the stratosphere: Your gear.
What will be unusual about our gear posts will be that they won't be from a tech guru (as my friend Pete Keelty out in Park City, UT, who publishes the be-all, end-all ski gear site.) They'll be from me. A fan of good gear, knowledgeable from years of solving my own common problems with some very good advice and intent studying.
We'll talk boots. We'll talk skis. We'll talk poles. And maybe even undies.
