Going to try to hit Bellearye this coming Sat or Sunday, anyone want to go to Belleayre this weekend? Tickets on the mountain are $57.00 for nonmember and $47.00 for members with id cards. Contact WSR for temp cards or for$65.00 I will provide transportation, ski tickets, drinks and snacks, places in van are first come first served so book early. And for those who went with me to Windham, I would love your company again. I have a large 15 passenger Eco Friendly van, zero carbon foot print, and I like driving. Although Belleayre does have a food, I would recommend you bring food with you as they are quite overpriced. I will have a cooler for all cold stuff. For anyone who doesn't bring food, I will be making a stop at a deli i found just before Belleayre. The deli sandwiches there are $5. I will be leaving from my home at 6:30am, (plenty of on street secure parking for free in front of my home) and going past White Plains Train Station. I will then be going up the Taconic Parkway. So if anyone live along that way i can get you. Belleayre has plenty of cubbies, if we get there early enough. As anyone who has skied Belleayre before can tell you it has TONS of green and blue trails, but now that Tomahawk there are now REAL blacks on the right side of the mountain. Its generally less icy than Windham and Hunter, plus usually less crowded So anyone want in for a short day trip? Right now I'm planning this for Saturday. Should be better skiing, temps will be cooler this week. Bellearye, at least, should be skiable.
