Saying goodbye to the skiing season
Ok, the season is about done, BUT....
IT'S NOT TO LATE TO GET ONE LAST DAY TRIP IN.
I'm proposing an April 1st trip to Hunter as a season wrap-up.
I have one last day pass, and come hell or high water, I'm bloody well going to use it.
Anyone want to come with me? I also want to have some sort of farewell party for season at the end of the day. I'm taking my van so I can put upto 15 other people in with me.

Well, unfortunately, every ski area is closing by Sat, so no more skiing for anyone :-(

Yeah... very sad. So many resorts are hurting and so are their towns. Not good for places like VT that were also hit by Hurricane Irene. Interesting to see whether it'll drive resort prices up next year or down. Since most resorts are owned by investment companies, I don't see prices going down.
