Next Season Trips
Hey everyone, I have gathered much information over the past season for various resorts in North America and Europe. Since we should become members of NYSC (ski council, not sports club), lets plan something for next season. I know its premature but now would be the time to narrow down options and a date range. My thoughts: Big Sky, Jackson Hole, Vail, Chamonix, Val d isere (awesome!), Zermatt.
Any thoughts? Europe will always be the best bang for the buck.

Great idea, Steve! We should set up a group chat sometime and meet on ideas for next season. I could even bring ideas to the NY Ski Council's next meeting and see if they'll pick up one of the destinations-- then we'd be open to an even better deal.

I just got back from the Ski Club show where all the resorts give their deals and plans for the coming season. I have tons of information for us to go over. Europe, West, Canada, and more!

Well, I just got my daughter's school vacation schedule, it is spring break weekend April 15-20. So I would REALLY love to goto Whistler-Blackcombe during that week. I plan on leaving Friday night-Saturday morning , coming home on following Sunday 12-21.
Anyone interested, SkiCan will do a package deal with all transfers, skiing rentals(if needed/wanted), airfare, room. meal are extra but plenty of eating options.
Just remember, there is plenty to do besides skiing the, AND NO DRIVING! EVERYTHING IS WITHIN WALKING/STUMBLING DISTANCE, LMAO.
Would need a minimum of 9 others to go but the more people the lower the price. Right now is the time to look into something like this.

We don't have a Whistler trip on the docket, but if you want to go I can see if any of the other Ski Council clubs are doing anything for that resort.

One way or another I'm going that week, already started getting flight times and getting room prices. My daughter wants to go there, and so do I. I would love to get some people from the group, but like I said, I GOING.

Telluride Jan 8-13 (tues-sun). Leaving early Tuesday morning and arriving at mountain by 1pm, departing sunday around 1pm. All flights via LGA. $1300 gets: air, transfers, lodging, lift tickets for 4 days. Will be booking in 2 weeks. The more people, the cheaper it gets.
Oh, ski in and out in the mountain village.
